The point-of-no-return ........ Well mostly ........
Finally; self-check questions before going under the needle!!!
Ask yourself the following questions:
Have I come to terms with the fact that my tattoo will soon be a permanent part of my body? Have I made this commitment to be tattooed knowing some amount of pain will be involved and have I accepted this as a part of my tattoo experience? Am I comfortable that the tattooist I have selected is one that will work well for me? Do my tattooist and I have a clear understanding of the price of his / her work for this tattoo? Can I financially handle getting a tattoo at this time? Have I been clear with any special considerations that the tattooist should know before tattooing me; [health issues, phobia of needles, and history of fainting]? Etc; Am I sure the design I have selected to be tattooed is my perfect tattoo design? After seeing the stencil on my body, am I confident that the size; placement and orientation is exactly how I want my tattoo to be? Do I feel confident that when I get tattooed; it will be a safe and healthy experience? Will my tattooist open all his / her sterilized equipment in front of me so I know it is safe to use? Do I feel clear with how the tattooist is willing to work with my needs during the tattooing process ………… [Bathroom breaks; cigarette breaks; pain management]? Etc. Am I prepared and committed to properly care for my tattoo during the healing process and allow it the process and proper amount of time to heal?
